something like a phenomenon
uncomfortably numb
About a year ago, happily cruising productaddict's favorite area in fred segal santa monica, the most helpful fellow productaddict sales associate performed a miracle right before our eyes. 'would you like to see wrinkles disappear in seconds?' we were asked. we gasped with pleasure and begged him to continue. we were told to open our palm upon which the miracle performer applied freeze 24/7 anti wrinkle cream. within seconds, all of those tiny little lines on our palm disappeared, by apparently numbing the muscles which create them. unbelievable. we could not hand over our credit card quickly enough. not in the hotel room for thirty seconds before we had washed up ready to apply this miraculous cream. well.... disappointment cannot fully describe how we felt upon application. the cream did not go on smoothly (a somewhat pasty consistency), and left almost a white film on our face. worse, we didn't see any wrinkles disappear. not giving up on the miracle, we continued to apply daily as recommended for the following three days. unfortunately, now in addition to a few little wrinkles we were faced with a stubborn breakout situation. unbelievable. the rest of the cream obviously went unused. however, we love their lip plumper (called plump lips), but for it's smoothing qualities(no visible plumping witnessed). this makes us think that the eye cream is worth a try. productaddict believes in miracles. apparently so do millions of others.

productaddict's predilections
English rock stars and white teeth...and ne’er the twain shall meet. exceptions exist, but not nearly enough to our liking. wouldn’t it be nice to be able to say, ‘wow, just after pete doherty tumbled off the stage he stood up and flashed us his toothy white grin’. for now, that statement would be categorized as a lie. but, if pete’s listening, we could come to his aid. if what we hear is true, his supermodel girlfriend has laid down the dental law and is demanding that he get some professional help along with a regular maintenance regimen. we are here to help. productaddict has found supersmile’s angled toothbrush to be the very best tooth whitening brush, all electric models included. the angle of both the handle and the bristles allow even the most slacker oral hygenists among us to get the whitest teeth ever. bristles being on the stiffer side, a thorough cleaning requires less effort and more reward. it’s simple and durable design also encourages portability. rock on. available at supersmile.

If it's the original st. tropez tan that you desire, a few luxurious applications bain de soleil gel will be your friend. created in france in the 1920's just post coco chanel's glamorization of a previosly gauche thing called a suntan, bain de soleil still, basically rules. whether one has applied this luxuriant gel in st. tropez or on a suburban rooftop, the result was the same.... a head turning, envy of the beach bronze. productaddict recommends bain de soleil be used in two different ways. first, as intended; a tanning product. (however, we must warn that to fully enjoy the benefits of bain de soleil one must have established a bit of a base tan prior to serious exposure. the spf factor is an old school spf of only 4. listen to your skin). second, as a midwinter trip to the tropics via scent. trust us. apply a healthy coat of bain de soleil in midwinter. report back on all compliments received. available at bain de soleil

Diamonds have never really been productaddict’s thing. (we are apparently lacking a seemingly dominant jewelry appreciation gene.) slightly puzzled by it’s name (natura bisse diamond extreme anti aging bio-regenerative cream) we dipped in and applied.... unbelievable. it’s as though we had never before moisturized. our skin could not thank us enough. barcelona has never seemed a hotbed of scientific development, but the natura bisse chemists have concocted a product which defines moisturization. after breaking down the recipe, productaddict has determined plankton extract to be the star ingredient. plankton extract is said to be a light activated enzyme which can aid in dna repair. dna repair sounds like something which takes place over time, however we saw immediate benefits upon application. though this is not an inexpensive addiction, we cannot help ourselves. available at blissworld
